The Ouzoud waterfalls are a small piece of paradise at 160 kilometers from Marrakech.
Itinerary
Day 1 :
Day trip from Marrakech to Ouzoud waterfall
We need to be up early to leave Marrakech and head to the Ouzoud Waterfalls as they are 160km from Marrakech. After passing the plain of Marrakech we cross the Middle Atlas, passing through wonderful berber villages until we reach the Ouzoud Waterfalls. These are the most beautiful waterfalls in the country and you will be spellbound watching the water cascade down 110 metres. We will spend the day walking around the falls and crossing the river in small boats to visit the ancient water mills. We will later enjoy a delicious lunch on a terrace with view on the falls.
We will return to Marrakech in the late afternoon.
