Overview
This stone desert is the ideal destination. Quads and camels are available and we will explore the Lalla Takerkoust dam and the Kik plateau at 1800 meters altitude.
Itinerary
Day 1 :
Day trip from Marrakech to the Agafay desert
We leave Marrakech in the morning and head to the Agafay desert.
This destination is ideal for people who do not have a lot of time in Marrakech and can’t go all the way to the sandy dunes.
In this breathtaking stone desert camel rides and quads are available.
The next stop is the dam of lalla Takerkoust where we will take a break.
We then continue to the kik plateau (1800 meters altitude), which offers a spectacular 360 degrees view of the mountains surrounding us.
the moulay Brahim village is the next stop. Moulay Brahih was a well-known Moroccan sufi saint after we will visit a local production firm of argan oil.
We then head back to Marrakech.
Fantasia chez ali is an ideal evening out to finish the day with or without children.
It is one big berber spectacle with horses, acrobatics, traditional music and more.
There will ofcourse be good food such as Harira soup,Mechoui (lamb on spit), couscous, Moroccan patisserie, Fruit, Mint tea / Coffee.
NOTE: This route can be shortened to a camel ride/quad ride and if desired lunch before we go back to Marrakech.
The party at fantasia chez Ali is optional.
